(no subject)
Yeah, so I just got home from New York. It was pretty awesome. But I'm glad to be home. I don't have anything to write, so I might as well tell you about me trip, lol.
Thursday Woke up early, and my dad picked us up around 8 or 9. Went back to his house for a little bit, then we were on our way to Canada.When we got to Canada we changed and went to the Niagra Falls. Walked around there for a little bit, got pretty wet, then walked around town. Went on the boat ride that takes you like almost right into the falls. It was awesome! We got soaked there, but they gave us some sweet ponchos so it wasn't bad. Went back to our hotel and watched a movie.
Friday Woke up, and we just went started to drive to New York. We went to Cooperstown where the National Baseball Hall of Fame is. That was pretty cool for the most part. But my dad likes to read everything, so we were in there wayyy too long. We walked around the little town for a little bit, then I bought myself a Yankees shirt. We ended up staying at this one hotel for the night, then thats about it.
Saturday We got to New York, checked into our hotel, and then we went to the Empire State Building. Went to the very top of it, and looked down on New York City. One of the coolest things I have ever seen!! After that we just walked around the city for a little bit. Then at night, we went to Time Square and saw that. That was awesome! Because it was soo bright and there were soo many people down there. After that, we just drove back to the hotel and hung out.
Sunday Woke up early, and went to the part of the city where the Statue of Liberty was. Waited in line and then took the ferry over to the island that it was on. That was awesome too! But then that got kind of boring, so we left after an hour. Lol. We took the ferry back, and then there were all these guys selling purses. Like Coach, LV, Prada, and a bunch of other big brands. So I got myself a Coach purse for $20. Yeah it was sweet. Haha. But since these guys weren't allowed to sell the purses, because it was illegal, when a cop came by, they all hurry up packed up their sheets and then took off running. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Hahaha. We ended up getting a bunch of purses though and then we just walked around town some more. Ended up going to Central Park and walked around there. Almost got ran over by some bikers and joggers. Lol. Then we went back to our hotel.
Monday Got up and then just walked around for most of the day. Then we went to the Yankees game. It was pretty sweet. The stadium is totally different from the Tigers one. The tigers stadium is much cooler. Lol. The Yankees ended up killing the Blue Jays. But after that we just drove home.
