So Chris and I started studying for the bar on Monday. This week, we're taking this six-day class that focuses on the multiple-choice section of the bar exam. I was totally not looking forward to it, especially because we just graduated this past Saturday. To my surprise, however, we're encouraged to take it easy this week - thank god for that! Rather than hit the books after class, I've been doing a lot of sitting on my ass, watching television, and drinking wine - lots of wine. Heh. I've really taken to drinking. And smoking. Christ! I smoke a lot now - what the hell? I'm not even all that stressed out - just kinda bored, I guess.
I should be happy that things are so slow right now because the real studying starts next week. We have class five days per week, for four or more hours per day, and we're expected to study an additional four to six hours per day. Yesterday, I was mentally making a schedule and I realized that if I want to hit the gym and get a full eight hours of sleep, I'll have absolutely no time to do *anything* - nothing, whatsoever! I'm pretty much out of commission for the next two months. I'm not going to be able to venture out of this god-forsaken city to see my friends or family. So if you're reading this, feel free to visit sometime - I'll need the break!
At least I have a bunch of fun things to look forward to. In August, Chris and I are going to Florida and Vegas with Chris' family. Then, we finally get the fuck out of this shithole town for good! Jesus! I can't wait! And then, we're going to Peru and Argentina! Yay! These fun activities are the light at the end of the long, dark tunnel.
