Back in LA
Mama and me flew out to LA yesterday since we got a call late Sunday afternoon saying that I was to attend a few events out here this week. I just wish they would give a little more notice because when I have to rush around and pack, I always forget something, like my favorite shoes in the front closet.
This morning I attend a breakfast with Chelsea and Jack at the Sick Children's Hospital. There were a bunch of speakers with even some of the kids sharing their stories. It was really nice for them to invite us to listen in on their experiences, I just wish there was something more that I could do to help them feel better other than just taking a picture and signing an autograph. After breakfast, mama and me came back to the hotel for a bit and I caught big guy on the Ellen Degeneres show. Too bad it was pretaped, I could've went to party in the crowd while I was there. Anyways, JT you did an awesome job!!!! I love those "show after the show" gigs!!!
In about an hour, we're going to visit one of the local shelters that care for foster children while they're waiting for a home to be placed in. It's sort of tough for me to go to places like this as I tend to feel a little guilty for the type of life that I have been blessed with while these nice people have to live in a shelter or stranger's home. It really can't be easy for them. After that Lindsay and I are suppose to be going out for pizza and then catching a movie but I can't get a hold of her. Hopefully she'll call me soon.
Last night my sister called, which was a surprise to me since we haven't heard anything from her in awhile. I know life for her is like a roller coaster for her right now with the album and all. Just as things start slowing down, they speed up again twice as fast as before. I feel bad for being cranky with her when she first called, *grins a lil* I really miss her that's all . Next week though its just her and me!!!! *giggles* Friday I'm gonna tell my teachers that I have the chicken pox, then Britney is gonna kidnap me and we're going on a vacation just her and me. *sto and laughs* Although, its not really kidnapping because she is one of my legal guardians and mama won't mind because she knows how much I miss my sister time with Britty. I'm really excited!!!
I guess its time to get the show on the road though and grab something to eat. *rubs my tummy* I'm starving!!!! I need to get in touch with Tori, Taylor, Jenna, Eric, and the rest of my LA crew while I'm out here. I only have 2 days left to squeeze everybody in before I'm thousands of miles away again.
