(no subject)
yup, definitely walked in on my roommate "helping herself" yesterday. I wanted to ask her what she thought of a pair of pants I was trying on, so I kind of scratched at the door. I heard a muffled voice on the other side, and assumed (incorrectly) that it was her saying to come it. When I opened the door, she was on her bed, wearing nothing but a tank top, and watching a movie. She quickly pulled the blanket up over herself, but it was much too late. It was my first experience with something like that....I mean, there was the whole Bopha thing freshman year, and Friz last year, but those were more auditory. Therefore, they are more easily blocked from my mind (though I still refuse to listen to "Bye, Bye, Bye"). The worst part was, about half an hour later, she came to my room and sat on my bed (fully clothed) and talked as if nothing had happened. I just hope she washed her hands....thoroughly.
anyway, what else? well, we're finally getting the internet at the apartment. that's exciting. the wireless thing should be here by friday. Bethany said she'd try to hook up my computer for me since I'm not the most computer-savvy person around. We got a new phone, too...landline. We need a wire thing that hooks the phone base to the wall, but other than that, we're all set. Our new number is 617-something, something, something-0213. Maybe I should look up that middle part. I'm keeping the cell, of course, but this is just another option.
At daycare my favorite kid dropped out. Well, of course, I don't have favorites, but if I did, she would have been it. Her mom went part-time and Aunty Chi-Chi volunteered to watch her. Now all the kids are horrendous, but at least 2 are moving up to preschool in March!! 1 more month!!!!!!!! I just wish Joey was about 8 monhs older....that kid could drive anyone crazy!!! It would also be nice if I wasn't the only teacher in the room all morning. The legal ratio is 1:4 in a toddler room. The lowest number we have on any given day is 6 (Tuesdays and Fridays...GOOD DAYS!!!!) clearly, an assistant is needed. Alright, that's a good enough update for now. I'm at work right now, and might as well lock up and go home early if I'm not going to be useful!!
