not on file

My top choice, Washington University in St. Louis released admissions decisions today. So i checked and they say they dont have my application.

"Application Not On File

As of 03/18/2006 we have not received, or have not processed, your application. If you mailed your application more than two weeks ago, please contact the processor appropriate to your last name by following the link below."

.....

but they emailed me in january asking for my mid-year reports so that must mean they have my application right?? ;aghfsslfjsfd? no ones in their admissions office right now so i have to wait til monday to call.

In other news, i found out I received a Presidential Scholarship to Babson College (their only scholarship that didnt require an essay...hahhaa...). The administration only chooses 40 students a year to receive it blah blah so i told my dad and all i hear in response is "what? i've never heard of it." Then he just rumaged through my "U.S. NEWS America's Best Colleges" ranking book and tried to find it and was like "what the heck its not even on a list".

So i try to explain to him that "duh, no one's going to have heard of it and its not gonna be ranked on any National University list because its a SPECIALTY SCHOOL. It only teaches business, only offers majors in business, and basically preps kids for Graduate School/M.B.A. Its been ranked the #1 school for Entrepreneurship for 12 years in a row in that U.S. NEWS ranking book and has an admissions rating of 90 in the Princeton Review book."

But he still doesnt really care and keeps asking me if Berkeley released their admissions. These are the times when I get really annoyed, cause i cant DIRECTLy tell my dad hes stupid and should think more, but can only imply it.

Boston College only releases decisions through mail so now i'm going to eagerly wait at the mailbox everysingle day.
