Brody starts 1st grade in 1 week!! I can't believe he's that old already! Time sure flies!!
Chris got home on Saturday, been good having him home, but I wish things would just fall into place. I'm sick of having no money all the time and worrying about him and jobs.
His VA claim was closed today, they said they mailed out his rating today, so we are hoping he at least gets something. It'd be nice if they give him quite a bit, but anything is better then nothing at this point. Even if he gets a little more, we can get insurance cheaper that way, and that'd be great.
Brody also has soccer this season, he had his team meeting today. I think he'll have fun. He always wants to play hockey, which would mean he'd have soccer practice 1 day a week, games for soccer on saturday then hockey on sunday. We'd have something going every single day of the week, but he really wants to do it, but I dont know if that's too much for him, seeing as he's just starting all day school, although he's been going to daycare all day for awhile now. But it also is an expensive sport. Soccer is cheaper, HAHA.
Plus we are hoping in the next few weeks Chris gets a call for border patrol. They are calling people in his month right now, so it's only a matter of time before they call him, we expect the end of October or November he will start academy and be gone for 4-5 months, so i'd be working full time, with the boys and doing all the sports stuff. But we'll see when it comes down to it, maybe I can quit working soon.
I am eatting ice cream, that time of the month is coming, I needed a treat!
