Just watching David Cameron answer MP's questions on BBC One and even though I know I shouldn't really be enjoying this because the discussion is about the NHS, which is pretty serious, in a bizarre way this is just. so. funny ! It's rather like watching a really heated news conference than what I assume to be a discussion in parliament. People are shouting all the time, interrupting the speakers every once in a while with shouts that sound suspiciously like Nay and Ay (are we at sea?), MPS are standing up and sitting down across the bank, making the chamber look like a giant game of whack-a-mole and then they try to make jokes ... it's weird!
The best bit was David Cameron and Ed Miliband arguing, though - they kept standing up and sitting down like only one minute apart, so it really did look like they were sitting on two ends of a seesaw :). And then Ed Miliband said something along the lines of '... and the poor Deputy Prime Minister gets the dump all the time' and Nick Clegg, who'd been nodding along to David Cameron's points all the time till then started grinning and laughing all of a sudden behind the PM's back :D. Politicians really are like kids, sometimes :D!
(On a sidenote, finally the kitty seems to have settled down - she's been biting my ankles and shoulders for the past few minutes and it was really starting to get annoying. She seems to be satisfied with wiggling in the space between my back and sofa now ...)
P.S.: Had to park the car alongside the curb in the no parking area this morning, because the driveway had been blocked by the plumber that came by to fix the leak. I thought that surely I could leave the car there for just five minutes, but think again! A few seconds later I look out of the window and there's already a policeman, looking at my number plate. Where the heck did he come from?! Do they just pop out of thin air around here O.o
