Winter has finally come to Austria, which means tons of pretty white, white snow - and the usual traffic chaos from hell. But let's focus on the pretty, shall we, because when I have to think about the two frickin' hours it took me to get into the city today I might start crying -.- ... it's COLD!
By now there's so much snow lying about that it goes up to my thighs in the deepest parts :D! Time to build a snowmaaan :D! The only downside to all this is that even during the day my room's pretty dark (I live directly under the roof, so my window's been covered by about four inches of snow). Judging by the light it's about seven o'clock in the morning perpetually (which doesn't make getting up any easier, at all).
By the way, you know what the real beauty about this is? Because of the snow the streets are all slippery now, which means that the cars are forced to go at about 30 km/h - which means that it's quiet around here for once :D!
And on a final note, I saw the first Santa of the season on the subway today - or rather at the subway station. He kept going up and down the escalator and laughed his head off at strangers ... O.o (Never mind the fact that he's in the wrong part of the world, but ... creepy much?!)
