To all my faithful readers, I propose discussion and response. In doing so you will be helping with a project I have on the go. So reply with your answers, questions and arguments.
What is a blog? - be it in general, or in relation to yourself.
To help stimulate discussion I shall throw a few ideas into the mix. When writing a public blog does the content, wording, layout, etc. reflect how you wish to be perceived by your readers or is it a true reflection of yourself? Does the blog play a strong role in online social networking? A curious point to note is how little LiveJournal is used by my friends now, when, at its peek during high school it was a social hub of discussion. Does a blog empower you to say things that you wouldn't in real life or are the two completely detached? Do they create new connections between people or more complicated barriers?
