Stolen from animama while I wait for an exam to start...
Fifteen fictional characters (television, films, plays, books, comics) who've influenced you and that will always stick with you. List the first fifteen you can recall in no more than fifteen minutes.
1. Miss Frizzle, The Magic School Bus
You may wonder, but that show was my life for some time in primary school. I would watch it in French and English as many times as I could catch it in one day (that was usually three, actually) and had figured out the logic behind the scheduling of each show (they worked weekly, always with the same five shows in a row; I knew what I'd be seeing from the shows on Monday). It was educational, funny and they managedto break down relatively complex concepts so that kids could easily understand them. Plus, Miss Frizzle was delightfully crazy. And she had a pet lizard. I bet my undying love for reptiles comes from there.
2. Enzo Matrix (the old version), Reboot
Oh, how you can laugh at this one. He was my first virtual crush but I really like Andraia so it got relegated to wishful thinking. Young kids get exiled and have to make do mostly on their own to save their loved ones and beat the evil virus. Also, it taught me English.
3. Megatron, Beast Wars
This show played right along with Reboot and contributed to my English-learning process. 'Yeeeeeesss'. Yeah. That purple dinosaur will always be the real evil-but-sometimes-stupid Megatron to me, whatever the original franchises say.
4. Arthur, from Merlin l'Enchanteur (Disney movie)
You don't want to know how often I watched that movie once I got it for Christmas. The siblings still have nightmares about it. I think I was jealous of him getting to live as animals for short periods of time. Looking back, it sounds mightily like the tale of the Self-Made Man typical to blockbusters.
I might be able to fond more, but not in such short a time and distracted by friends and people who couldn't be arsed to study asking me to help do the work for them. I bet Final Fantasy characters and old anime (Dragonball, Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura) would be featured.
