Party weekend!

It's Wednesday again! So here goes another weekly ramble. This weekend was full of fun. Saturday night I had coffee with Jeremy who I had only seen once so far since he's been back from the Czech. We had a fun time talking about everything and nothing. Later that night was Games Night at Vegas. Andrea and Tara hosted a fun-filled, food-filled, and foolishness-filled evening. Then Sunday afternoon, Tara, Andrea, Brad, Kate, and I took a random trip to Freddy to 'kidnap' OJ from Becca, with the excuse that he needed to have a bachelor party before his wedding. We came back to Jen and MB's for some cake and then all of us went to the ABU smoke pit with for some fun with fire poi. We got some awesome video and I can't wait for OJ to finish editing it.

I promised Shawn I'd go running with him last Thursday but I forgot to set my alarm clock. I went yesterday instead, but Shawn was sick and didn't show up, and another who usually joins us had an early meeting at the school she works at. So it was just Tyler and I running. I didn't do too well cuz I got a bad cramp a quarter of the way through the run. I'm hoping to go running at least once a week with them now. Then yesterday night at youth group we had Games Night, where after playing board games, the talk was on rules and obedience. Then after that I went to Brittany, one of the youth's, house with a bunch of the youth to watch House, which was great since we don't have cable at Crazy Laurie's.

Ya, I guess that's my week. Classes are going well. Working the soundbooth's the same ol' same ol'. Although the week of Mike's wedding, 2 weeks from now, I'm going to have to get Dave Pike to cover for me since Dan's going to Halifax on Tuesday afternoon, and won't be back probably until Sunday afternoon. I still haven't been called to supply teach yet, but I have received an email from Big Will Njoku, the new athletics director, to scorekeep the basketball game this weekend. So at least that will almost cover for the week I miss in the soundbooth. But maybe I'll be able to continue with that job too. Ok, I guess that's all I have to say for now, so until next time, this is JamesyWamesy signing off.

work, friends, ramble
