As you know, kelly and i have not been able to ride our boards much since it soooooooooooooo freagin hot. so we have both been writing a bunch. Kelly posted a song she has been working on, and so, having like to see what people have to say about it i am now going to go critique fishing myself. I wrote this on a break the other day:
bleeding hands for comfortable feet
from greedy hands made mass deceit
fear the governance in foreign lands
but put your wealth in their hands
shield your eyes, shield your ears
in america it doesn't cost blood & tears
just a lost job with a lost cause
and the winning of your peers applause
bury the meaning under your tongue
hide it deep inside your lungs
careful when you breathe
the truth might leave
and an offense caused
by breaking the facade
check the label, look inside
you say you're a patriot but i think you lie
not the greatest, but something close to my heart......i'm not fond of things made in china. lemme know if it totally sucks or something....word?
