Chutzpah. It was their party and their governing philosophy that got us into this shit in the first place. Phil Gramm, more than anyone besides Alan Greenspan, is the man responsible for the policy that led to the financial cancer of all these bad loans that are currently raping our economy. McCain would likely make Gramm his treasury secretary. If he's elected, he'd mostly likely make everything in the headlines WORSE, not better, and he'd do it on purpose.
Republicans spit on our ability to effectively govern ourselves. It's what they believe in their bones. Asking a Republican to promote good government is putting an alligator in charge of promoting vegetarianism. It goes against everything they are.
