Word of the day: Bigot
In an outrageous act of bigotry, the Hillsborough County Commission voted to bar county agencies from recognizing or participating in Gay Pride Month or any events that portray gay people in a positive light.

Citizen's Advisory Committee Meeting, June 24th 8:30am
The Citizen's Advisory Committee (CAC) to the Hillsborough County Board of County Comissioners (BOCC) will be conducting their televised meeting in the Planning Commission Room of the Fred Karl County Center, 18th Floor, on Friday, June 24 at 8:30 a.m. The issue of the CAC's and BOCC's upcoming joint meeting to discuss important community issues will be heard at 10:15 a.m. on Friday. Public comment is welcome. Please come and share your views on the BOCC's anti-Gay Pride policy with the CAC.
