I feel the vague urge to mother the doctor who is treating my father. No, no, no vague urge there.

Eat more lunch, please.

A little creative schedule scrambling and there will be time for more lunch and I will eat more lunch, promise.

Because for some reason I'm slightly ravenous this morning. Damn vampire, sneaking up on me in the middle of the night.

You know, you can just send an intern down to bring you food. Or a fellow. House does it all the time.

Hell, I'll do it.

Well, you know those vampires. Always ravenous for something tasty.

I'm actually short interns at the moment, hence the note about posting open positions.

Are you offering to bring me food, Doctor Chase? Hmm...hard to say no to that sort of thing you realize? Makes a better excuse for snogging in my office then a consult file you could memo up to me.

I guess I can understand the vampire's drive, especially when faced with the temptation of a satisfying mouthful.

I am offering you to bring you food, if for no reason to keep you alive. A bagel and an orange, honestly.

A satisfying mouthful, or several.

You know the metabolism does funny things in my advancing years and maybe I want to keep my trim and youthful figure?

However, I would be very thankful if you brought me food...because honestly these budgets are starting to make my brain leak out of my ears.

It's always a good thing to sate the urges of a vampire...satisfying as well.

Don't get me started on American metabolisms. As it stands, you need sustanance, and I will gladly bring you some.

Vampires are very picky creatures, you know. They only take from the most tasty of victims.

Oh hoh! Playing the Australian card are we? It is perfectly natural to believe that coffee is a food group, besides...what the hell is a granola anyway???

Or a Grapenut for that matter...grapes do not have nuts!

This does in no way lessen my gratefulness to you for delivering food to me, as I believe I might have lost a few pounds to a... selective vampire.

.....bring some pineapple juice?

Granola is grain - formed into tasty nuggets,

Grapenuts are made up of granola. Which is equally tasty.

He must have remarkable taste.

Pineapple juice is tasty. Extremely tasty. I'll gladly bring you a liter or ... two, if you like?

It's the forming part of that process which concerns me. What is used in the forming process...I'm suspicious.

Okay really I'm not since I enjoy it in yogurt.

He does appear to be a very discerning vampire, which makes keeping him well fed and content a source of pride.

Two liters please, I'm feeling a might thirsty.
