Work might be moving (again)

Found out last week that the job I'm doing might be moving to another site 12 miles and 2 bus rides away. away from where I live. Good thing is though I get extra credit for the travelling time. Thing is I'm sick of being treated like I'm in a bottom of the pile job. Sod it, I interview people for national insurance numbers, it's not like we're doing an unimportant job.

Things are still shit where I'm working now, with so much pettyness and people thinking I have it easy just because I do 3 interviews a day. But each interview takes 90 minutes, and then there's the admin work to do after the interview.

I'll be glad to get out of where I am at the minute because the people there are mostly jobsworhts, you know the type, 'nothing to do with me, 'not my job' types. To give you an example of how bad things, whenever the other staff have a meeting we have to be silent or move to the back of the office so as not to interupt anybody! I was having an ergonomic assesment for my workstation and was told to be quiet as people can't hear what's being said in the meeting. Well, they chose to have the meeting just 10 feet away from where I work. When our Manager came over for our meeting we were told again to move so as not to interupt anybody. Honestly it can be really childish and immature a times. We have even been shouted at for not answering the phone quick enough. Well that can be impossible to do when I'm interviewing someone. There is a solution, put the three of us together on the same floor instead of having us two floors apart all the time. I just cannot believe things are being made so diifucult for us all the time.

We have even got to get permission to put up some direction poster I've created to direct our customers to the right place. That was 2 weeks ago and We're still waiting for an answer!!
