Where were those quotes coming from, you might ask, common reader. Well they're from The All Night Adventures of John and Rachel. A must-read, and a good time had by all!
For those interested, today is the Autumnal Equinox. You should be wearing Red, Yellow, Violet, Brown, or Orange today. Also, make sure to eat grapes/drink wine. And before some of you go off the deep end, three of my eight calendars say that it's tomorrow; the other five have marked it as today. Use your own judgement and party as you like.
Incidentally, this means that there are but four days until my birthday. I was asked by a number of people what I wanted for my birthday, and, as is typical fashion, I had no answer [ask me two months from now and I'll have a list 80 items long, no doubt]. So, I said to these people that I'd post a link to my amazon.com wishlist. Those who wanted it, please bear in mind that I do not expect you to buy me some of the things on there; the $400+ KitchenAid Mixer comes to mind. Also, I do not need the umpteen volumes of old Shakespeare plays, or all the books on snowflakes and fashion. This is a WISHlist, and something of a placeholder to remind me what books/movies/CDs I want. [I mean, if you think I MUST have them, then by all means, but just know they're not a high priority.] So, thar it be: My Wishlist.
