Fame at last
My review of the first episode of Bleak House (basically the same as what I wrote a few entries down) is on the BBC website, here:

They cut my comment about Timothy West's ugliness, though. It was a compliment; he's ugly in the same way as, say, the Albert Memorial, not like, say, Stockton High Street. That's a different class of ugliness altogether. The English language really ought to provide us with words for this kind of thing.
