daily slog
well, its been a few weeks of jobhunting, and no luck yet; the main two factors being that I havent passed my driving test yet, and I'm only looking for a job until next august... however, my optimism is unaffected, and I am continuing to send out CV's and applications...
however, last week I ran out of money... so I went into the Job Agency in Cranleigh and applied for part-time work as a warehouse operative for Direct Home Delivery in Dunsfold Park Complex. I'm getting paid £6 an hour ($12), and doing 9 hours a day (with one hour set aside for coffee breaks and lunch breaks).
last week I did 8am-5pm on wednesday, thursday & friday.
this week i am working 11am-8pm monday-friday
overall i'll be earning just over £400 ($800).
The audition for the new singer for Kill Claudio went really well!
Trim (the guys nickname) is an awesome singer, and really in keeping with our style (plus he's been a mate/ fan of our band for like 2 years when he was in a band called the Neon Lights who played with us loads).
So we're having more and more jams with him until Charlie the drummer is better from his operation, and then we'll see what it sounds like as a whole.
