(no subject)
as for how I am... im ok.
- work is fine; except due to a cockup with payroll, i wont get this weeks money till next week!!!
now i have no problem with double pay next week... except im BROKE this week! lol
- im doing ok on the Amy front. still missing her a lot, but i appear to be past the horrible depressive hole i was in earlier this week. I am however (as shallow as this may sound, and sorry for those for whom this is too much info) finding it VERY hard to adjust to not having sex after a 2 year relationship in which we were VERY active. its been 4 weeks today since the last time i had sex, and while im fully aware thats actually not THAT long, it sure feels it! lol!
- I've managed to get in contact with my drummer (hes the reason we havent practised- VERY hard to get hold of). he's sprained his wrist, which is bloody annoying, but not the end of the world, as apparently the BOTB has been cancelled, so were no longer under pressure to be ready for a gig.
- been listening to SO much Drop Dead, Gorgeous! i LOVE them, and consequently the music im writing for KC at the moment is SO brutally heavy! :-D
as for what im up to this weekend...
- I went to the pub last night, and had a quality time. some people that haven't been out in a while were there, and it was great to see them again. then Josh and Ian came and stayed over mine. we watched Gladiator, and ate SO much food, including pizza, crumpets, muffins, bagels, yoghurt, ice cream and toast. PHWOAR! Top night. they left this morning. I vaguely remember them waking me up to say goodbye, but i wasnt very communicative; i slept till 3pm this afternoon!!!! LOL.
- got a letter through from Westminster Uni this morning, accepting me for an interview on 4th Feb, so thats exciting :-) i have to write a 500 word essay on 'The Most Culturally Significant Event in the Music Business since 1945' (im thinking woodstock is a good bet), and submit it before my interview. then i have to choose between 3 interview audition processes; a performance of my ability on vocals/bass/guitar/drums, a playback of my recorded work showcasing my production skills, or a business presentation on a particular artist or band in the last 5 years. i reckon the CD playback is my best bet.
- Wizzi, one of my closest friends, split up with her boyfriend of nearly 2 years yesterday, for good, so im going over hers tonight to watch DVD's, eat loadsa food and get stoned, so she doesnt have to spend her first single night alone and depressed.
- Tomorrow I'm getting a lift into Guildford from Wizzi, and going over to Cliff and Ant's to watch Top Gear and drink some beers and chill out.
SO a good weekend planned, all in all. Hopefully I can sleep in a bit at Wizz's tomorrow, and dont get home too late sunday evening, cause I have been utterly SHATTERED this week.
