A very jolly adventure
Well, an adventure of sorts. I lived & worked in Cambodia last year, and fell in love with it - so rather than going on holiday with the girls to the Greek islands, I threw pants and passport into a bag and headed back to Phnom Penh.
Which is, undeniably, wonderful. I feel I'm neglecting my LJ as a consequence though; internet access is readily available, but time is sadly not - all this talk of de-lurking and becoming an active, useful member of the online community has been exposed as a sham and a fraud, as I instead get drunk on a boat on the Mekong and dance with nineteen-year-old boys. Ooops.
But head-space-wise, it's been an amazing trip so far. And with trips to the mountains and to the beach before I go (and yet more booze, I suspect), it's only going to get better.
