Amateur Dramatic at Royal Hotel, 7pm, to which Fan and the boys went. My case of nephrectomy doing well. Met George Yates in consultation. Took Mr and Mrs Grubb, his nephew and his niece for a ride to see the Calthorpe and Cannon Hill Parks and the Botanical Gardens; brought home some bronzes of Rubens and Rembrandt from Mr Brown [?] which I took in payment of his acc[ount] £3.5.0.
