Long round - went to see Jaffray's picture by Hall at the Joint Stock Bank. It makes those by Munro [?] look ridiculous. Went to AG in the afternoon. Sent off cheque to J Povey Harper for £10.10.0 for surveying the Hoyland Colliery. Wrote letters which were somewhat in arrears.
