I can't believe that Gran Torino was not nominated for a single reward. I saw Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It was good, very good. 13 nominations good? Fuck off.
Gran Torino was a movie of 2007 calibre. I'm talking No Country/There Will be Blood quality. Clint Eastwood is an American legend. The directing of the film was incredible, but at the very least he should be nominated for best actor, an award he has yet to receive. Now I know Clint usually plays similar roles, but he plays them damn well. He plays REALISTIC roles, he doesn't "act" he becomes the role. He does exactly what the character would do in real life, no more.
