Ticket to Here

Aug 31, 2006 18:38

Laying across the station,
Thoughts ricocheting off the walls,
No need to slip,
Cos everybody falls,
Take your life with every sip
Life doesn't need this contemplation.

This deep sensation,
Watching yourself fade away
With feet hangin off the edge,
Because they just don't want to stay,
Minds the same but its already fled,
Drunk from this endless meditation.

If anything could be given,
What couldn't be taken back,
Lost every hand you've ever bet,
What you want is all you lack,
Begin to wish you'd never met,
But life begins when you start livin.

If trade could open up all your fears
If thoughts could trap the tears
I'd still never be able to be sincere
Trust me,
Of all the things to see and to hear
You're never gonna want a ticket to here.
