(no subject)

So....classes have started. They're going well enough. A B on one exam, and a C on the other. The C is not something I'm very pleased with, but I was expecting a multiple-choice test, not an essay exam. So, given that hurdle, I don't feel too bad about it.

Oh, and in case it ever comes up, an Obliuette (sp, perhaps) is a sort of pit in the ground, used in torture rituals and such. Not, as I put it "A light omelette made fluffy with the addition of cream, often served with bacon and a croissant". Though, as the prof noted on my exam, "That sounds delicious".

I like most of my classes, though the 2 mile round-trip walk to the Engineering center gets a little old after awhile. Every single class I have is in Millett Hall (the University's English Seat), except for one 300/400 level class located in the damn Russ Center.

The Yeats one can be a bit boring, but most of the papers are simple responses and essays requiring little to no actual factual/argumentative evidence, so research and such is at least kept to a minimum.

And as far as the past few days go...they have been...well...interesting, to say the very least.
