Well, I got a new phone finally. I would have put it off even longer, but I broke my old one. Anywho, as much as I hate jumping on bandwagons, I now have an iPhone 4. So far it is keeping me amused. Aaron and Dustin were the ones to finally convince me. It has a few frustrating characteristics and restrictions, but I'm slowly getting used to it.
I went to see a couple of recitals last week. Nathan's junior French horn recital was at ISU on Sunday and Abby's senior violin recital was the following Saturday. They both seemed extremely surprised that I'd shown up to either performance. I guess I deserved that since I'd not really been around much lately. Some friend, eh?
Looks like I'm still going to be able to go with Josh and Brittney to FL near the end of May - despite our comanager (finally) quitting. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high since things like this have a habit of not working out, but, truth be told, I'm kind of excited about it. This is the first time a friend has asked me to join him on vacation. I'm not so much interested in the location as just getting to spend the week with a friend. I really hope nothing screws this up.
Speaking of surprised friends, yes, Caleb, I know I still owe you an email. I've not forgotten. I know you kind of expressed shock when I left you the message for your birthday. =)
I've got the day off tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get to do something besides just a trip to the laundromat....
