After considering the options, I went with advil.

what the results was when I took 400 mg the pain is lessned but the breathing was a huge improvement. Much less panting. But still have pain. I added one more and the pain was considerably less.

But still cannot get sleep might have to wait until I ask Dad to get me sleeping pills.

Typical Rx strength ibuprofen doses are 400, 600, or 800 mg. I sometimes take 4 Advil at a time, but no more than 8 per day and only for 1-2 days.

Check with a doc.
