It's been forever since I have posted an actual blog of anything going on in my life.
Let's see...
in the current...
Getting ready to go to Bear Week in Provincetown, MA. Our second, and more importantly, our best time is in store for us. Most of our great friends will be joining us, and a lot of my facebook and blog-o-sphere friends will be there as well.
Last week I went to Dallas for the second part of my heart study that I started almost ten years ago when I lived in Dallas. Honestly, the only good part was spending time with furrbear and fuzluver1 . I don't think I plan on going back to that study if I have to go through what I did in any shape or form.
Bowling league is going well, although my average is not so hot right now. Had a couple of bad weeks of bowling, and hope that it turns around in the near future.
In recap....
My stepmother passed away almost two weeks ago now, and my dad seems to be coping pretty well and seemingly moving on to bigger and better things.
I am still unemployed...it's still driving me crazy, but what in the hell am I going to do...it's a bad job market.
SIGH...
Thankfully the love and support that I receive from Pete has been more than overwhelming to say the least. He has sacrificed a few things, namely his good credit, because he hopes that I will get employed. I got a couple of phone calls yesterday about possible job opportunities, so my resume isn't completely dead out there, and I am still doing my part-time, semi under the table, merchandising assignments.
