Dallas Bound
Today, whilst doing my side job assignments, I got a call from the University of Texas Southwest regarding a heart study I did almost ten years ago. They want me to come back to Dallas to continue with the study. WHAT?!?!?! REALLY?!?!?!?!
They told me they would pay for my flight, pay for one night's hotel, and this is the best part, pay me $250.00!!!!
I told them I was more than willing to continue on with the study. They want to try to get me in towards the end of the month of June. YIPPIE!!!
I immediately called my friends Steve and John and told them I would be coming to do this and see them, if they so wish to of course.
The dates tentatively are scheduled for me to fly out on June 29, do the testing on the 30th, and then fly out on the 1st of July.
It has been six years since I have been to Dallas, and that city and I have a rich past. Some good memories and a whole lot of bad memories. Hopefully the people that I really do not wish to run into will stay well enough away.
