Mefiant - Steve Sellers
A little belated, but I had a lot on my plate when I heard the news.
And maybe surprising from Ms Negativity, I know.
But when I looked back to GOTR memories upon hearing that Steve Sellers had passed away, I only had funny memories. Not always on purpose...
Like the time I got lost on the way to the Carling Islington, wandering in the neighborhood looking for it, and spotted Steve on the street. Decided to follow him, gathering we were going in the same direction anyway... only to see him a few steps later talking to bobbies (British cops), no doubt asking for directions.
...
Eventually, I found the venue by myself.
Another time, the only L.A. GOTR show I attended, I remember Steve Sellers sang this one song :
Mefiant
It's one of his own songs, but it's the only time I heard it live, as he didn't perform it in the other (... many...) GOTR shows I saw.
He did a good job.
I also recall someone saying on a JM board that it was their favorite GOTR song, "because James' voice is so wonderful on it". ... LOLWUT.
It's Steve singing on this CD version, as well.
