Over the weekend went to the Center and checked out some bookstores. I was in one of the really big Dutch ones and remembered I was interested in "The Case of the Dog at Night". I stepped to the other side of the table and there it was. So bought it. The character's narration was very different from others (the main char has asperger's syndrome), and I think the author (who I don't think has it) managed to get the aspie thinking process down (IMO) pretty good. (Short read. Finished it Saturday night/Sun Morn).
Friday I was supposed to have an interview with a company in Amsterdam. I spent Thursday evening and Friday morning psyching myself into the right frame of mind. Then just before lunch Fri, it was canceled because of a problem on their end. Monday no word either. My agent said I could work from home Friday afternoon and then Monday when I spoke to her again, it was ok. So my weekend seemed very long. Back in the office at the agency today.
Went to Leiden Saturday for a small party/get together one of the girls from the bowling team was putting on. Had fun. Got back into town after the trams stopped running, so had to take the night bus home, which is only once every hour. Almost finished the book waiting and riding the bus. Some slight snow flurries and ice.
