Okay, bed number one is apparently sold by the dodgiest online company ever. They will take my money and not give me a bed. So. Ebay.

Definitely NOT over the top, in fact it would be quite fitting in the room you have described. Its so purdy....

I bought it today. She comes on Wednesday with a nice (one hopes) bug free mattress. The search for bed linen is on!

I was chuffed - Sarah on facebook mentioned that I have always kept a Goddess Boudoir. I haven't done so since moving to London. Here's hoping it lifts the mojo....

Oh it definitely will! One of things I am slowly doing (and I mean its been happening over the last few years) is re-sorting my boudoir to make it a bit more goddess-like. Almost one of the first things I did after Mr SPH pissed off was go buy myself new bedlinen - lovely luxury feel cream coloured sheridan sheets and new quilt covers ( two examples - deep blue with silver thread embroidery, burgundy with black velvet applique and gold thread outlining) and lots of pillows (big european pillows, and extra decorative cushions)! They completely remake the room and express my love of texture and colour. Now just need to sort the books and papers in neat piles around the floor to ensure easy access to the bed!

it's fabulous! get it! You can probably find a gorgeous copper/wrought iron hanging light to go with it. I didn't want to say chandelier... but... you know what I mean. It's also practical. You can store stuff underneath it. You can tie bondage ropes to it. Get it.
