Honey, I'm home!!
What a great time we had in Idaho! The mountains are one of God's greatest creations! Ben got a lot of 4 wheeler time in, whistle pig hunting, and sitting in the hot springs. I think this will be a vacation to tell his children about. Him and I even tried to climb a mountain. We made it part way up but of course no snowshoes or even our snowpants on! We kept falling through drifts so finally gave up. Ben hogged the sled and made me walk down the mountain instead of ride. After falling through drift after drift I just sat down on my backside and slid the rest of the way...can you say WEEEEEEEE!! We were both soaked and laughing and Greg just looked at us like we had lost our minds...ummm...he may just be right.
We had great family time together and I miss my husband so much. He'll be home the end of this month, I told him I would really like it if he could be back in time for my birthday.
We were doing some sightseeing on Aar's birthday and I know he was looking down on us 'cause we saw a ton of UPS trucks! Love you Aar, got your message!
It was hard coming home to a house minus one dog. It just wasn't the same. Stoeger is up playing with Aar now though, take good care of each other guys.
Got your card Andrea, that was very thoughtful of you. Did you recieve the e-mail I sent? Aar's grave was decorated real nice when we got home. Many people had left flowers there and someone had tied a stuffed Batman to the stand holding up the skateboard.
Got up the courage to finally talk to Greg about my plans of becoming a certified lay minister and after discussing it he told me he will back me all the way. I have such a wonderful husband.
