(no subject)
It's December 21st so I figured it was a good time to start my shopping. Went tonight and had it all done in less than 2 hours! Now, I still have a few of the gifts to make, but at least I finally got the stuff I need to make them.
Asked Greg if he had any plans for dinner Friday night, he asked me where I wanted to go and I told him Omaha! Do you believe it?! We're gonna leave Friday morning, drive about 6 hours, have dinner, spend the night, have breakfast and maybe lunch and then drive back home again! Greg has family out there (the uncle that did Aar's funeral), so I just thought it would be a nice drive. Bless my dear husband for putting up with me!
I got a wild hair tonight and called Leah at almost midnight Mich. time. No reason, just felt like calling. I guess this is just fair warning to watch out, you may be next.
Remember the picture of Aar on his skateboard on his funeral handout? I painted that tonight and added the word 'eternity' that is in his handwriting. I've entitled the picture "Eternal Skating" and I'm giving it to Ben for Christmas. I think I am going to make another one and send it to Ron as his birthday is in the beginning of January.
