Man, in the last month or so, I've become a huge Kristin Chenoweth fan. It started when I went along with the Rains trip in January to SF to see Wicked. She wasn't in any way involved with that particular performance, but it was my first time seeing it, and I didn't know she was in the original cast for the first Broadway run. Yeah, I'm totally out of touch with pop culture =\ I mean, I knew she was talented, but not *this* talented.
Then I discovered Pushing Daisies, a TV show she had a supporting role in that ran for a couple of seasons up until a year ago. It's really good. It's like a fantasy/romance/comedy with a criminal forensics element. Sort of Tim Burton-esque in its quirkiness and with the stylized visual aesthetic, but not as weird or dark. I love it. And it's something to tide me over until Glee starts again in April.
