The Girl...
Now writing this is probably gonna jinx me, but what the hey :p
As I mentioned I met a girl last weekend. I met her in a club, but near enough after it opened, before anyone was in there and before there was any atmosphere. And I spent most of the night with her, talking and dancing. No I didn't kiss her, I'm not like that as you all know :)
Her name is Emilia (Emi for short) and I think she's 22/23 (depending on her birth-date). She is over here working as an au-pair, but actually comes from Poland. Somewhere in the south near Krakow. She has told me it but I can't remember how to spell it.
Now as I also wrote she did call me, which I missed as I was sleeping (working nights this week). We have since emailed and texted each other (is 'texted' right in this sentence, it seems funny to me). And I think it's sort of going well. She's said she wants to see more of Scotland before she goes home and do I have any ideas of where to go and would I show her (her exact words - "Before I go home I want to see the countryside and the best parts of Scotland. Maybe you know some nice places where you could take me :-x" ).
And so thats all the info so far, I just wish I had more dating experience, as I have no idea what I'm doing or anything. Do I phone? Do I not phone? Do I act less friendly so she knows I'm romantically interested or more friendly so I don't seem too distant? Conundrums, conundrums! It would also help if it was a girl who had a good understanding of English (her's is ok, but I can't use any semi-complicated words at all).
At the end of the day, who cares, what will be, will be. I'm just gonna have fun, learn some social skills, and maybe meet my future wife in the process!
