A Busy Saturday

Nov 24, 2007 16:00

We went out to Rick's for breakfast this morning and I made sure that I was bundled up. I wore my new thermal socks (they work great) and long johns. I had to sweep the snow off two cars and the little bit that was on the cars. The sun came out while we in Super Wally World and melted most of the snow. However, the clouds came back later this afternoon and more snow may be possible.

I found a Puss N Boots Pez dispenser at a thrift store this morning for fifty cents. I found a Hot Wheels car case for two dollars but I didn't like the condition that it was in. I need to find a new one on of these days but the local Super Wally World only has the wheel-shaped case, which I hate.

After getting home from breakfast, Super Wally World, three thrift stores and the craft show, I had a busy Saturday planned. I had to check the water in my mother's car and clean the battery posts. I then clean and lighted the basement heater (the blasted pilot light took forever to stay on). I then put plastic on the windows in the basement living room window and my bedroom.

Tonight is the two-hour episode of Battlestar Galactica titled Razor on the Sci Fi Channel. The two-hour special will serve as the backdrop for season four. I will hopefully put together a character for rhino_boy while I watch it.

Tomorrow night, the four-hour Hogfather will be on the Ion Network (channel 37 here). Hogswatch is the equivalent of Christmas on Terry Pratchett's Discworld so this will be one holiday special that should be worth watching.
