Twilight :(
Alas, I have also succumbed to the Twilight mania. I didn't want to! It's a stupid trashy chick lit pre-teen romance fantasy novel thing, definitely not the kind of stuff that I usually read, but...someone recommended it, and I read it. And then I read New Moon and Eclipse. Luckily, I have not quite got to the point where I own any of the books. Eclipse was a gift. And I haven't read Breaking Dawn yet, but more or less know what happens. I guess that must mean I like it. Or at least tolerate it.
I think it's Bella. She's so completely pathetic ordinary. Yay for 'falling down a lot when you run'. For some reason that line is extremely amusing to me.
Thing is, I didn't actually realise just how bad the series is until buttfacemakani pointed it out. In a very entertaining manner.
In Harry Potter news, which is of course much more interesting and important, The Tales of Beedle the Bard! On December 4th! Yay we have another release date for more canon! Now JKR just has to write that 'Scottish Book'. :D (The HP Encyclopaedia, if anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about.)
So...yeah. I'm still not very active on LJ because it eats up time so quickly. It's quite efficient at doing that. I stopped LJ-ing frequently when just reading my friendspage took like two or three hours. For one day's worth of updates. To be fair, I think most of then were from ohnotheydidnt.
You know, I'm pretty sure most of you have filtered me out of your friendspages by now. :P
