I don't like needles....

Got in to All-State! Yay!

Once again, I am the only violist from Tucson who made it, not bad for my second year. About half of the violists that got in this year were in the violist section LAST year, kind of interesting. I find these things out by looking at lasts years programs and stuff..... kinda like researching! I did the exact same thing in cross country and track, I liked knowing who I would be competing against... Is that wrong?

More kids from Tucson got accepted, I'm pretty pleased. A lot of them do activities OTHER than music, can't think of any, but I'm sure they aren't 1-Dimmentional. The crazy Asian violist is back though... she'll kick my ass... But then again, I"m sure all she does is play the viola.....

Getting ready for my senior recital, once again i'm neurotic. Anyone's welcome to come hear me, it'll probably take about 45 minutes, and there will be free food. Before the recital there'll be an 8 mile run, location's up to me, but I wouldn't mind if some folks came for that too..? The recital will be entertaining for anyone, music-lovers or not. I think it'll be worth your time, plus it's free. Yay free Julia culture!!!

My dad's going to get a sample of his Bone Marrow taken out, meaning some large random needle will be shoved into his backside, and a piece of his Bone Marrow tissues will be removed. He's so desperate to run again, and I know how much he hates needles. My dad's even told me that he would be willing to do anything to just run a few more races, and because of his new medication, he will be cutting a few years off, just to run again, to run with me.

Time for tea, time to reflect. Avoid senioritis while you still can!
