So much drama, so little I can say
Why is it that the people who deserve to be screwed get away with everything and the ones who don't deserve the bad crap get it all?
My mom met with the Public Defender today and was told she'll need to get a lawyer and go back to court in June. She entered a plea of not guilty with the whole drama incident, so now she'll have to get the lawyer, appear in court and hope she doesn't get sentenced to jail time or whatever they could give her.
Stupid freaking Jeff won't even pay her the money he owes for the phone bill, and I know my mom doesn't have the money, so I pitched in today, which has put me a little short on money (thankfully my dad owed me some money). Jeff just gets away with that and calling me all sorts of names and talking a bunch of crap and Ashley gets to be a little [enter a few choice words here], and I can't say or do anything about it. My mom asked me not to say anything to them when I talked to her today (she knows I've been waiting for her court date to be over so I can call them out on some crap). But she said the last thing she needs is them having proof that we're being confrontational and harassing. Grrrr ...
Add on top of that today that so many things seem to be going wrong. For some reason, my bank card wouldn't go through at the gas station today, but thank goodness I had another card. I have a paper to write tonight that I just don't really know what direction to take, so I'll likely be up all night. I spent most of the day at the AS voting table, so I didn't get much done either, so I still have some reading to do before I can even start the paper. Ugh!
Friday (and thus spring break) better come real quick or I'm gonna go crazy. Crazy.
