You know you're addicted to journalism when ...

In a MySpace survey thing I posted on a bulletin, my roommate's answer to the question, "If I [meaning me, Jamie] was stranded on a desert island and could only bring one thing, what would it be?" was the AP Style Book. Yeah. Hilarious. it had me laughing for a while. I guess I really have become an Obsessive Compulsive journalist. Just call me Joc (short for Journalism Obsessive Cmpulsive).

In other news, I seem to be making great strides in my effort to get over the breakup. Yay for that. If you wanna know more about why, e-mail or message me or something so it's not totally public and in the faces of people who don't care or have heard enough for a while. Thanks to all of you who read this who have been instrumental in helping me down that path. I love my friends!

And, speaking of friends, I get to go back to Bullhead two weekends in a row starting in just about a week!! First, a week from Thursday, I get to go back to judge River Valley's Speech and Debate team at state. Then, the following weekend, my school holds the annual Missions Conference and cancels classes Wednesday through Friday, so I'm gonna take the week/weekend off and go back to Bullhead. I'll get to celebrate my birthday with friends that weekend cuz the Monday following it is my 22nd birthday! (I feel like I'm getting so old!) I'm so excited.

Things seem to be going well this week, surprisingly. I'm trying to stay away from the attitude of wondering when something is going to go wrong since everything seems OK right now, but it's hard not to sink into that with my life, you know? Anyway, I'm gonna enjoy the happiness, right after I do the Business Law homework that is sitting on my desk beckoning that I finish it before my 6 p.m. class. Blah to that. I'll tell you about my new plan later when I don't have homework to attend to. Have a great day everyone!
