Dearies, this post is simply an update of deliciousness.

Words deliciousness in the form of
lovely cards that arrived today from louise39 , effulgent_girl and joshua02 . Thank you so much, they brightened my morning!
I went to the post office for my own Christmas cards and parcels last Friday - for the e-cards , it will be done next Wednesday before leaving.

Cooking deliciousness in the form of another recipe of French little cakes that I always bake for Christmas.
After the Bûche and the truffles, I present you Petits gateaux orangés
December ignites this uncontrollable desire for all things dessert..

The recipe:
Dough:
125 gr butter
100 gr sugar
1 egg 1 yellow
zest of ½ orange
200 gr flour

Trimming (topping?)
100 gr ground almonds
120 gr icing sugar
zest of 1 / 2 orange
juice of 1-2 oranges

Glazing:
100 gr icing sugar
2-3 tbsp orange juice

Mix the ingredients in a bowl to get a smooth paste(dough). Separate into 2 and roll out the first half and drop it into the bottom of a pan. Prepare the filling by mixing almonds, sugar, juice and zest. Spread this mixture over the dough. Cover with second piece of dough spread. Bake 25-30 minutes at 150 ° C.
Prepare the glazing, brush the cake right out of the oven (you must proceed carefully because the cake is warm, crumbly) using a spatula or knife. Cut the cake while still hot. Let cool before serving.

Flowers deliciousness in the form of a white orchid that I bought last week and which usually means the first step in decorating the house during the festive season.
My grand-mother on my maternal side always had a white orchid in her home at that time of the year so do I and each time my eyes are caught with the glowing beauty of the flower , the thought of my dear M. fills my heart.
