Today turned out to be an interesting day for me. Myself and my boss-lady talked about religion, which spawned from talking about Mel Gibson's movie "The Passion". What I thought about the most, after we were done talking, is about the misconception of selling your sole to the devil.
How can you sell something you don't event own, or even seen or can touch. The soul is something you feel, not owned to be sold. However, the misconception is that, after one supposedly sells there soul, then they will never be acceptable in god's eyes again, which is garbage to me. God is a multiple great things with love included. God is more love than any human can ever understand. Which mean he is more forgiving than we are; and we as humans forgive people for things out of the love we have for them. Then why wouldn't god forgive acts of sins, if he know we are weak to temptations.
However, forgiveness requires different things, its not something you just get. I have forgiven people for things they have done to me, but it takes that person to acknowledge what they have done and the willingness to be different. I have done things that aren't right in this world, but I am human, and I ask god for forgiveness. Its just that i am weaks sometime and don't always realize things that I do until its already done, and everybody does that weather they acknowledge it or deny it.
I will continue to ask god to forgive me for my past sins, my present sins and the future sins that I may not be strong enough to resist. I am only human like everybody else.
The soul belongs to god not you or anything else, he has the finals say. So don't be a fool, just be aware of fools and there misconception of life.
