Well, so much to tell! Nothing that follows will be prolific or elaborate, it's just simplicity ( Read more... )

OH TRAVIS

Okay 1) I'm really glad you commented because I just enjoy you to begin with and haven't had a lot of time to talk 2) I love your icon and 3) THANK YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE THE PERFECT MAN FOR THE JOB

The new journal is jackiebomb (that's my sn too, btw). For now I just have the LASTN page done, I'll just copy the codes over for friends and calendar. But what happens in firefox but not in IE is that the mood and music lines are fucked up. See how there's a break between words? I want to get rid of that. It also occurs at the navigation box at the bottom, but I think it's part of the same code.

The other thing is that the top space, where my usericon and links are, is too large. I guess I have to make the padding smaller or something but I don't know how to do that. Basically, I want very little free space around that box, just a little bit past the border of the icon, but just as wide as the text boxes and the picture above.

Does that make sense?

Right now I'm just keeping the layout simple because I haven't had a lot of time to delve into it for realz. Eventually I want something cool like yours, but I want to learn how to do it (not just have it done) and I just haven't had the time ='(

Let me know if you need to just get in there and get my password and all that. Thanks so much Trav!

I messed with it a bit. I moods fit now in Firefox. You set the width to 0.

As for the space where usericon is, I'm not exactly sure how to do that with overrides. I'm not even sure you can. You may need to ask someone else who is more knowledgable in the overrides. Sorry.

Thanks! Is there a way to change all that spacing around the mood and music now though? hahah. I wonder if it's something like "padding".. I don't know.

Anyway, thank you! I will ask some other people too. :)

There is, but once you get it too small, it'll start doing that thing in Firefox. You'll find something that says table table widh: 20% or something, it's the only % that isn't 100%.
