If you need an alies, most people just use a random name that exists. What you have sounds more like the name of a famous person, so I figure that you wan't to be very good at whatever you're doing and well known for it.
Something exiting like you mentioned it, fits only to well in the image of an intresting, overly perfect villian.

Who uses an alias usually does not just around using it. Unless they are criminals who try to have a new life of course. Which happens often. Don't ask how many fake names I've been told in my life.
