I'd like to mention that this fact is very disappointing.

On a side note I'd like to ask something. Does anyone what's behind the wastelands?

And being in the same house all day makes me go insane.

My assumption is that the Wastes are big. Very big.

[Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy big, but the one person she knew of who lived here that would get that reference has long gone, so she won't say it.]

Mhm... Maybe Adstringendum is a ball just like the earth and everything besides the city is wastes, but... what if not?

Just like it would be naive to assume that there is no other lifeform in the universe aside from what is on Earth, I would assume that it is naive to believe there isn't life outside the Wastes.

... but it would be incredibly stupid to try and find it. At least, right now.
