I love how the human mind can at times be so brilliant and in the next minute be completely blind to the most obvious things. The scariest part is how the littlest things can trigger everything to suddenly come into blinding focus. And you look at the situation in a completely different light for the first time and seriously question where the hell you have been. Its like you've been running on auto-pilot and never really comprehending where you are going. You know the feeling. Most of the time you get it looking back with friends after the fact and they look at you and say, "what the hell we're you thinking?". Yeah, that feeling. Its refreshing and a little frightening at the same time. Or the feeling you get after driving down the expressway for 10min on your cellphone and you think back and you cant remember the last 10min of driving. Thats creepy. But what happens when you get this epiphany before "after the fact" comes? Then what? You try and argue against it but no matter what way you look at it you always come to the same ending. Its like the "choose your own ending" books where no matter what path you choose you always end up at the same place. *sigh* I joke about saying how I hate being right all the time. . . . but it definitely applies in situations like this. Why can't I just be wrong?
