The condition that the country was in leading up to the Civil War was the perfect definition of a "Cluster Fuck!". I've been studying it in depth for the last few days, and I can't find any way of organizing it. When a southern democrat was president, The idea was Slavery should exist in the territories without opposition. Then a northern Whig would come into office, and want slavery to be outlawed. Bills would be passed, compromises made, then the democrats would come into office and declare those bills and compromises unconstitutional. Anyway, I don't mean to sound like a text book, but studying for my test tomorrow has got all that in my mind.
Got my second Anatomy Lab practical back today. Made a B on it. Not too bad. I got to complain to the professor because she had a few of my answers marked wrong, that I knew were right. I stated my case, and got my way. Usually how it goes.
As I was driving home this afternoon, and guy driving a red corvette almost ran a STOP sign and hit me. I swerved and he slammed on his brakes. He turned and was headed the same direction as me, so at the next STOP sign I proceeded sit and wait for a couple of minutes(even when it was clear to go) just to make sure he knew what a STOP sign meant!!
There's about as much chance for rain tomorrow as there is for Notre Dame to beat USC this weekend. Let it Rain!!
