So, I had switched this online identity from using Yahoo to Gmail yesterday.
BIG MISTAKE.
Conversation auto-threading.
On any and all responses to anything I wrote.
Even if the responses weren't even to each other.
There's a response e-mail to a fic contest posting that I cannot get into my e-mail client as an e-mail because it's counted as a conversation continuation.
It shows threaded. If I search for it. Otherwise, it doesn't show up at all. And there's a chance this could happen to every response to every post I make.
E-mail setting switched back, griping comment sent through Gmail Help Center in the wrong place because they don't provide a right place for it.
(And it's not just about the response e-mails. The 'changing your e-mail' e-mails got conversation threaded. As I mentioned in the comment to Google, I'm really hoping anything IMPORTANT about someone actually screwing with my accounts doesn't get hidden in a conversation thread about something I personally did to my own account!)
UPDATE: Just checked. It was doing this to IMPORTED E-MAILS as well.
